William “Bill” Cruse grew up in Pearl River County. He returned to Picayune to practice law after spending ten years in Jackson. Bill enjoys working with clients as they navigate estate planning, estates, real estate, closings, and navigating legal issues in business. Bill’s practice is assisting clients’ to navigate major life transitions successfully so they can prosper as they move forward.
Before moving to Picayune, Bill worked in the Church as a youth minister and then Director of Youth Ministries for the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi. He did this work prior to and while in law school. He married Morgan Cowart Cruse in the summer of 2005 and they now have three children. His time working in Jackson and his family are what prompted his decision to return to his home. Practicing with the people and businesses where he grew up is a privilege; and not one he takes for granted.
Bill graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 2001, transferred from Pearl River Community College in 2003, and then graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Chemistry in 2005. He graduated Mississippi College School of law in 2009 and was admitted to practice that same year. He is the son of Fred & Dianne Cruse, the founders of Fred’s Westside Pharmacy and the brother of Gordon Cruse, owner of the same. He is a member of Kiwanis, a lifelong member of Phi Theta Kappa, and Phi Mu.
